Terminals · Salt Lake City
Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) has two terminals: Terminals A and B. Here's which terminal your airline departs from, the SLC terminal map, how to get between terminals, and where security is — so you walk in knowing exactly where to go.

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) has two terminals: Terminals A and B. Which terminal you use comes down to your airline — check the list below before you leave home.
Flying out of SLC? Here's the terminal each airline departs from. Tap an airline for its gates, check-in hall, and whether it recently moved terminals.
Airline → terminal assignments verified June 27, 2026against the airport's own sources. Airlines do move terminals — we date every change.
Each SLC terminal has its own TSA checkpoint, and the line can be short in one terminal and long in the next. Before you pick when to leave, check wait times by terminal and head to the fastest open lane. Not sure how long to budget? How long does airport security really take breaks it down by the hour.
No automated people mover/tram. SLC is a single terminal; Concourse A and Concourse B connect post-security via underground pedestrian tunnels (including the central 'River Tunnel' near security, opened Oct 22, 2024, plus the West Tunnel) fitted with moving walkways — fully walkable, though the walk to the far B gates can exceed 20 minutes. A central-tunnel tram is only a future plan tied to a possible future Concourse C. Verified independently and the Tucson Airport Authority SLC guide.
SLC suggests at least ~30–40 min (Delta SLC domestic-to-domestic minimum is 30 min per OAG/ExpertFlyer) for a domestic connection and ~55 min (Delta international-to-domestic and international-to-international); domestic-to-international 35 min when an international flight is involved. Figures are Delta connection minimums reported via OAG/ExpertFlyer (FlyerTalk SLC MCT thread); SLC does not publish a separate airport-wide MCT. The single-terminal, two-concourse layout keeps A↔B connections short via the underground tunnels, though international flights board early. Not an airport-authority-published number — treat as guidance. Give yourself more if you change terminals. See our full guide to minimum connection time.
Lounges, dining, and shops live inside each terminal past security — handy once you're through, but they shouldn't change when you leave home. Browsing other airports? TSA wait times by airport lists them all.
