TSA Wait Times is a free tool, and we keep your data to a minimum. You don't need an account, and we don't sell your personal information. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We collect only what the tool needs to work, plus the basics every website logs.

• What you type. When you look up an airport or enter where you're leaving from, we send that to Google Maps to find your route and drive time. We use it to answer your question — we don't build a profile or store your home address.
• Standard log data. Like most sites, our servers record basic technical details — your device type, browser, rough location from your IP address, and the pages you open — to keep the site running and secure.
• Cookies and similar tools. We and our partners use cookies — small files in your browser — to remember your preferences, measure how the site is used, and support the ads that keep it free. More on those below.

Advertising keeps this free

Display ads pay for this site so it stays free to use. Our advertising partner and the vendors it works with may use cookies and device identifiers to show you relevant ads and measure how they perform. Some of these ads are personalized based on your browsing.

You're in control. You can opt out of personalized ads at:

Who we share data with

We don't sell your personal information. We share only what the site needs with the partners that run it:

• Google Maps Platform — to calculate drive times and suggest airports as you type. Your use is also covered by Google's privacy policy.
• Our advertising partner and its vendors — to serve and measure the ads on the site.
• Law and safety — we may share information if the law or a valid legal request requires it, or to protect the site and the people who use it.

Your choices and rights

• Cookies — adjust or clear them anytime in your browser settings.
• Ads — use the opt-out links above to turn off personalized advertising.
• Access or deletion — depending on where you live, such as California, the EU, or the UK, you can ask what data we hold and request that we delete it. Email us and we'll help.
• Do not sell or share — we don't sell or share your personal information for money, and you can tell us to limit any sharing used for ads.

Children's privacy

This site is for adults planning travel and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll remove it.

Keeping data safe

We use reasonable measures to protect the data we handle and keep log data only as long as we need it. No site can promise perfect security, so we can't guarantee it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows or the law changes. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and we'll make big updates easy to spot.
