Concourse M (35 gates). Delta, Frontier, and most international airlines that don't use Terminals 1–3 check in here.
One concourse, M; three gates can handle the Airbus A380.
Terminal 5 has its own checkpoint for Concourse M, with TSA PreCheck lanes. Lines still swing by the hour, so check ORD wait times by terminal and head to the fastest open lane. Not sure how long to budget? How long does airport security really take breaks it down by the hour.
Airport Transit System (ATS). The ATS train stops here, but Terminal 5 is NOT connected airside to Terminals 1–3 — there is no secure walkway. To reach Terminals 1–3 you normally exit, ride the ATS or a shuttle, and get re-screened. An airside transfer bus links Terminal 5 with Terminals 1 and 3 about every 15 minutes in the afternoon and evening without re-screening.
