AirTrain JFK — Free for inter-terminal transfers; required to move between JFK's physically separate terminals. Also links terminals to parking, the rental-car center, the NYC Subway at Howard Beach, and the LIRR/Subway at Jamaica. As of 2026 the airport is mid-redevelopment: the new Terminal 6 (opened first phase 2026, airside-connected to Terminal 5) and the New Terminal One (phased opening from June 2026, retaining the 'Terminal 1' designation) are now in service; AirTrain serves these as well.
