Rideshare & Ground Transport

Uber & Lyft Pickup at Denver International Airport

Rideshare pickup at DEN is not always at the arrivals curb — most airports now route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated lot or garage. Here is exactly where to go, how to get there, and how to keep the fare reasonable.

Most airports route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated pickup lot or garage rather than the arrivals curb.

Where to get picked up at DEN

UUber Pickup Zone

Level 5, Island 5 — East side (doors 505–517) or West side (doors 500–512)

LLyft Pickup Zone

Level 5, Island 5 — same East/West pickup areas as Uber, directly outside terminal doors

Pickup and drop-off often sit on different curb levels — arrivals below, departures above — so follow signs to the right level.

In the app

Select 'Terminal East' or 'Terminal West' in the app; meet your driver at Island 5 on the matching side

How to find the rideshare zone

Exit through the East or West terminal doors on Level 5 and look for 'Rideshare Island 5' signage directly outside; both sides of the terminal have their own pickup zone.

Cell Phone Lot

The Cell Phone Lot is at 7680 N. Wenatchee Street (approx. 3 miles from terminal) — follow brown 'Cell Phone Lot' signs from Peña Blvd. Cell phone lot details →

Avoiding surge pricing at DEN

When surge peaks: Surge peaks Friday 3–7pm (ski season and summer mountain exodus), Sunday 4–8pm, and during Broncos/Rockies/Avalanche/Nuggets home games.

Wait tip

Choose East or West based on your airline to minimize walking; both sides have equal driver availability and no significant wait-time difference.

Compare your options

Rideshare is usually the fastest door-to-door option, but it is not always the cheapest — especially during surge.
