Each BOS terminal has its own TSA checkpoint, and the line can be short in one terminal and long in the next. Logan On-Airport Shuttle — Boston Logan has NO automated people mover/train. Terminals are linked landside by the free On-Airport Shuttle bus system and by pedestrian walkways. Airside (post-security), Terminals B, C and E are connected so passengers can transfer between them without re-clearing TSA; Terminal A is NOT connected airside, so A connections require going landside (walkway or shuttle bus) and re-screening.
Give yourself a real cushion to connect at BOS: about 45–60 minutes for a domestic-to-domestic connection, and 90 minutes or more when international travel or a terminal change is involved. See our full guide to minimum connection time.
Lounges, dining, and shops live inside each terminal past security — handy once you're through, but they shouldn't change when you leave home. Browsing other airports? TSA wait times by airport lists them all.
