How to connect
AUS WiFi delivers good speeds on the AUS Free WiFi network. AUS WiFi delivers good speeds for most tasks — browsing, email, video streaming, and light downloads all work reliably. Coverage extends throughout the terminal areas and concourses — you generally do not need to reconnect as you move through the airport.
Charging stations are throughout the Barbara Jordan Terminal; the expanded west concourse has USB-C and USB-A built into most seat rows. Most major US airports — including AUS — provide a mix of USB-A, USB-C, and standard 120 V outlets at gate seating. Bring your own cable; cables are not supplied at charging kiosks.
Pro Tip
AUS WiFi holds up well most of the year but slows during SXSW (March) and ACL Festival (October) when every seat is occupied — download content before those event weekends.
