Rideshare & Ground Transport

Uber & Lyft Pickup at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Rideshare pickup at ATL is not always at the arrivals curb — most airports now route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated lot or garage. Here is exactly where to go, how to get there, and how to keep the fare reasonable.

Avoiding surge pricing at ATL

When surge peaks: Surge peaks Friday afternoons 4–8pm, Sunday evenings 5–9pm, and during holiday travel weeks; ATL's sheer volume means mild surge is common even midweek.

Wait tip

Plan for the 5–10 min walk to the Economy Lot before requesting your ride to avoid driver cancellations; Friday afternoons and holiday weekends see heavy surge pricing.

Compare your options

Rideshare is usually the fastest door-to-door option, but it is not always the cheapest — especially during surge.
