Where to catch Uber & Lyft at MCI
Iris, Lyft, Turo, Uber, and zTrip pick up on the lower-level Arrivals curb near the purple signposts 2K-N. There are only a few rideshare spots, so wait until you see your car pull in before stepping out. Drivers stage at a separate lot at 684 Brasilia Ave.
Dropping off? Drop off on the upper-level Departures curb and pick up on the lower-level Arrivals curb. No parking or waiting at the curb. Kansas Cityhas a single terminal, so there's no wrong-curb risk — any door gets you to check-in and security.
Driving to MCI — routes & drive time
MCI sits about 19 miles from Downtown Kansas City, a drive of roughly 20–35 minutes via I-29 South to downtown Kansas City — closer to the high end at rush hour. Getting to MCI by train or transit
