As of April 2026, ARI and International Shoppes (JFK T4 Retail Partners LLC) took over from DFS and are rolling out redesigned shops as part of T4's $1.5 billion transformation — new concept stores featuring locally inspired New York products alongside classic spirits, fragrance, and cosmetics. Terminal 1 (Air France, Lufthansa) has separate duty-free concessions.
US duty-free allowance
US residents may bring back $800 in duty-free goods per person. Liquids purchased at duty-free must be in the original sealed store bag when transiting international connections — otherwise they may be confiscated at the connecting airport security checkpoint.
