Picking someone up? Wait free at Cell Phone Waiting Lot. Free off-site lot at 1415 Murfreesboro Pike (rideshare drivers stage next door at 1413 Murfreesboro Pike). Wait there until your traveler texts that they're at the curb, then loop in once. Exit the airport toward Murfreesboro Pike; the free Cell Phone Waiting Lot is at 1415 Murfreesboro Pike — wait there until your passenger is ready, then drive to the GTC.

Uber/Lyft pick up inside the Ground Transportation Center (GTC) on Level 1 of Terminal Garage 2 — Lyft at Zone A, Uber at Zones B and C. Since June 3, 2025 rideshare DROP-OFFS also moved into the GTC (Zone D) and are no longer allowed at the departures curb except for riders needing accessibility; all rideshare activity is in Garage 2, a short covered walk from the terminal.

Dropping off? Standard departing drop-off is now inside the Ground Transportation Center, Zone D, Garage 2 Level 1 (about a 10-minute walk to ticketing); curbside drop-off is reserved for accessibility needs. Nashvillehas a single terminal, so there's no wrong-curb risk — any door gets you to check-in and security.

BNA sits about 8.6 miles from Downtown Nashville, a drive of roughly 15–30 minutes via Donelson Pike to I-40 West — closer to the high end at rush hour. That drive time is the first input into your Leave-By Time, so the calculator counts it backward from your flight along with today's security wait and the walk to your gate.

BNA has no rail link; WeGo Public Transit Route 18 runs from the GTC (Terminal Garage 2, Level 1) to the Elizabeth Duff Transit Center at WeGo Central downtown — about 20 minutes on express trips or 35-45 minutes on local trips, for $2.

Fare: $2 one-way on WeGo Route 18.

Hotel and off-airport parking shuttles load at the GTC; WeGo Route 18 is the public bus to downtown. If a shuttle is part of your plan, add its ride time to your Leave-By Time — it's easy to forget the 15–20 minutes between the curb and the terminal.
