What to know before you fly
- Blue Basic includes a full-size carry-on bag (overhead bin) and personal item — unlike basic economy on many legacy carriers.
- JetBlue has peak-season checked bag pricing: 1st bag rises to $49 advance ($59 at airport) during peak dates (e.g., all of June to August 2026, Thanksgiving, winter holidays). Save $10 per bag by adding bags more than 24 hours before departure.
- JetBlue Plus Cardmembers get 1 free checked bag for themselves and up to 3 companions. Bags not accepted more than 6 hours before departure (4 hours at FLL and SJU).
