WiFi & Charging
Free WiFi is available throughout Cyril E. King Airport on the Free public Wi-Fi (network name not published by VI Port Authority; look for the open/unsecured SSID broadcast in the terminal) network. Access is Unlimited for the flight day; departing passengers only — Free Wi-Fi has been offered to departing passengers since the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism and Virgin Islands Port Authority launched the service in December 2014; connecting typically routes you through a portal page and a short survey about your USVI trip before granting access.

How to connect
STT WiFi delivers adequate speeds on the Free public Wi-Fi (network name not published by VI Port Authority; look for the open/unsecured SSID broadcast in the terminal) network. STT WiFi provides adequate speeds for browsing and email; streaming and video calls may buffer during peak hours when the most passengers are connected simultaneously. Coverage extends throughout the terminal areas and concourses — you generally do not need to reconnect as you move through the airport.
No dedicated charging bar is officially documented; general terminal seating in the upper-floor waiting areas has been reported to include some outlets, but this is not confirmed by VI Port Authority — bring a portable battery as backup. Most major US airports — including STT — provide a mix of USB-A, USB-C, and standard 120 V outlets at gate seating. Bring your own cable; cables are not supplied at charging kiosks.
Pro Tip
STT is a small single-terminal airport, so the free network covers the whole building — there's no need to hunt for a stronger signal near any particular gate. If the portal page won't load, forget and rejoin the network rather than refreshing repeatedly.
