Rideshare & Ground Transport

Uber & Lyft Pickup at St. Louis Lambert International Airport

Rideshare pickup at STL is not always at the arrivals curb — most airports now route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated lot or garage. Here is exactly where to go, how to get there, and how to keep the fare reasonable.

Most airports route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated pickup lot or garage rather than the arrivals curb.

Pickup and drop-off often sit on different curb levels — arrivals below, departures above — so follow signs to the right level.

In the app

Enter 'Lambert–St. Louis International Airport (STL)'; specify T1 or T2 so your driver knows which entry/exit to use

How to find the rideshare zone

T1: after baggage claim, go up to the departures (upper) level and exit at Entry/Exit 6 to meet your driver. T2: stay on the arrivals (lower) level and exit at Exit 12 in the left/far lane for rideshare.

Avoiding surge pricing at STL

When surge peaks: Surge peaks Friday evenings, Sunday afternoons, and during Cardinals (MLB) and Blues (NHL) home game nights; St. Louis Gateway Arch tourism (May–September) and City SC (MLS) matches also generate moderate weekend surges.

Wait tip

T1 and T2 use different levels — T1 pickup is upstairs (departures), T2 is downstairs (arrivals); confirm your terminal before heading to the wrong floor.

Compare your options

Rideshare is usually the fastest door-to-door option, but it is not always the cheapest — especially during surge.
