Rideshare & Ground Transport

Uber & Lyft Pickup at John Wayne Airport

Rideshare pickup at SNA is not always at the arrivals curb — most airports now route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated lot or garage. Here is exactly where to go, how to get there, and how to keep the fare reasonable.

Most airports route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated pickup lot or garage rather than the arrivals curb.

Pickup and drop-off often sit on different curb levels — arrivals below, departures above — so follow signs to the right level.

In the app

Enter 'John Wayne Airport (SNA)'; specify Terminal A, B, or C so the app routes to the correct parking structure

How to find the rideshare zone

After baggage claim, take the elevator from the arrivals level up to the departures level (Level 2); walk across the road into Parking Structure A2 or B2 and proceed to the top/roof level for rideshare pickup.

Avoiding surge pricing at SNA

When surge peaks: Surge peaks Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons; Disneyland and Anaheim resort events, Angels and Ducks home games, and summer beach season all drive strong Orange County demand throughout the year.

Wait tip

SNA rideshare pickup is on the roof level of the parking structure, NOT at curbside — allow extra walking time and confirm your structure (A2 or B2) in the app before heading up.

Compare your options

Rideshare is usually the fastest door-to-door option, but it is not always the cheapest — especially during surge.
