Speed and coverage

SFB WiFi delivers adequate speeds on the SFB-Public network. SFB WiFi provides adequate speeds for browsing and email; streaming and video calls may buffer during peak hours when the most passengers are connected simultaneously. Coverage extends throughout the terminal areas and concourses — you generally do not need to reconnect as you move through the airport.

Charging stations

The airport's interactive terminal map (flysfb.com/maps/) marks charging-station icons near each gate cluster (1–4, 5–9, 10–16); the newest seating in Gates 1–4 has the most reliable built-in power, while outlets are sparser around the older Gates 10–16 area, so carry a portable battery pack as backup. Most major US airports — including SFB — provide a mix of USB-A, USB-C, and standard 120 V outlets at gate seating. Bring your own cable; cables are not supplied at charging kiosks.

Pro Tip

SFB is small and single-level, so WiFi signal stays consistent everywhere in the terminal — there are no dead zones or connector tunnels to worry about like at larger multi-concourse airports.
