Rideshare & Ground Transport

Uber & Lyft Pickup at San Antonio International Airport

Rideshare pickup at SAT is not always at the arrivals curb — most airports now route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated lot or garage. Here is exactly where to go, how to get there, and how to keep the fare reasonable.

Where to get picked up at SAT

UUber Pickup Zone

Pickup and drop-off often sit on different curb levels — arrivals below, departures above — so follow signs to the right level.

In the app

Enter 'San Antonio International Airport (SAT)' in the app; the app directs you to Terminal A lower level outer curb

How to find the rideshare zone

Exit the arrivals (lower) level of Terminal A to the outer commercial curb; rideshare pickup is in Zones 1–3 on that outer lane.

Cell Phone Lot

Free Cell Phone Waiting Lot at 1200–1298 Northern Blvd, San Antonio TX 78216 — 30-minute limit; one block off Loop 410/Airport Blvd adjacent to QMart and Burger King; 24/7, all vehicles must be attended. Cell phone lot details →

Avoiding surge pricing at SAT

When surge peaks: Surge peaks during Fiesta San Antonio (April), Spurs playoff runs, and popular sports weekends; San Antonio's vibrant tourism industry ensures steady weekend demand throughout the year.

Wait tip

One pickup area serves both terminals — if arriving at Terminal B, walk or follow signs to Terminal A lower level outer curb before requesting.

Compare your options

Rideshare is usually the fastest door-to-door option, but it is not always the cheapest — especially during surge.
