How to connect
RDM WiFi delivers adequate speeds on the Free public WiFi (the airport's official site confirms free WiFi terminal-wide but does not publish an exact network name/SSID — select the open airport network from your device's list and follow the on-screen splash page) network. RDM WiFi provides adequate speeds for browsing and email; streaming and video calls may buffer during peak hours when the most passengers are connected simultaneously. Coverage extends throughout the terminal areas and concourses — you generally do not need to reconnect as you move through the airport.
Charging stations are placed throughout the terminal; until the 2028 terminal expansion adds built-in charging to more than double the current seating, the post-security mezzanine near Avalon Aeropub and the Dancing River boarding-lounge location are the most reliable spots. Most major US airports — including RDM — provide a mix of USB-A, USB-C, and standard 120 V outlets at gate seating. Bring your own cable; cables are not supplied at charging kiosks.
Pro Tip
Because RDM is one small, easy-to-navigate terminal, WiFi signal stays consistent everywhere from check-in to the gates — there's no need to hunt for a stronger connection near a particular gate.
