Maps are updated when terminals are renovated or new concourses open. Terminal 5 at LAX, for example, has been closed since October 2025 for reconstruction — always confirm your terminal from your boarding pass rather than relying on a saved map.
Here is what each terminal or concourse at PVU handles — which airlines fly from it, the gate range, and key amenities to know before you go.
PVU's terminal opened in July 2022, replacing the airport's original small terminal building. It's a single-story, roughly 70,000-square-foot facility with a brick-laid, Center Street-inspired façade and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Utah Lake and the surrounding mountains. Ticketing, the lone TSA checkpoint, and all 5 passenger gates are within this one building; only Gate 1 has a jet bridge, while Gates 2–5 board via a tarmac ramp/stairs, so travelers step outside briefly to reach those aircraft. Breeze Airways, Allegiant Air, and American Airlines operate all commercial service. A multi-phase expansion is planned that would add two elevated concourses with 6 more gates (11 total), a larger apron, expanded ticketing/baggage areas, and future customs facilities for international flights — none of which exist yet.
None needed — PVU has one small, single-story terminal where all 5 gates open directly off the same concourse past the lone TSA checkpoint. There are no trains, trams, or inter-terminal shuttles.
Timing tip
Always allow 15–30 minutes for any inter-terminal transfer at PVU — wait times for people-movers, buses, or security re-screening add up faster than the physical distance suggests. Build the buffer into your Leave-By time, not your gate arrival time.
PVU is compact enough to walk end-to-end in a couple of minutes, so spend your buffer time on security, not navigation. Only Gate 1 has a jet bridge — Gates 2–5 board via a ramp/stairs onto the tarmac, so dress for the weather and arrange boarding-chair assistance in advance if you use a wheelchair and are ticketed at one of those gates.

Your boarding pass shows the exact gate. Open your airline app about two hours before departure — gate assignments sometimes change after check-in closes. Look for departure boards throughout the terminal for real-time gate information.
