Rideshare & Ground Transport

Uber & Lyft Pickup at Philadelphia International Airport

Rideshare pickup at PHL is not always at the arrivals curb — most airports now route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated lot or garage. Here is exactly where to go, how to get there, and how to keep the fare reasonable.

Avoiding surge pricing at PHL

When surge peaks: Surge peaks Friday 4–8pm, Sunday 4–8pm, and during Eagles home games at Lincoln Financial Field, Phillies playoff runs, and major events at Wells Fargo Center; summer Jersey Shore weekends spike Friday afternoon demand.

Wait tip

Zone 7 is the ONLY legal rideshare pickup point at PHL — do not accept rides from drivers at departure or arrival curbs or anywhere inside the terminal.

Compare your options

Rideshare is usually the fastest door-to-door option, but it is not always the cheapest — especially during surge.
