West Palm Beach (PBI) Airport Shopping

Shopping at Palm Beach International Airport spans convenience staples at Hudson News and tech accessories at InMotion through to local specialty gifts and duty-free for international travelers. See each section below for exact locations by concourse or terminal.

Diagram of duty-free shopping with sealed liquid bags and the rules for carrying them through connections.
Duty-free liquids must stay in the sealed store bag to clear security on international connecting flights.

Duty-free shopping

PBI has no dedicated duty-free shop. Its international service is limited to Bahamasair (Nassau) and Air Canada/Porter (Toronto, Montreal), and none of the airport's roughly dozen shops are branded duty-free retailers — travelers wanting duty-free liquor, cosmetics, or tobacco should plan to buy on arrival at their destination instead.

US duty-free allowance

US residents may bring back $800 in duty-free goods per person. Liquids purchased at duty-free must be in the original sealed store bag when transiting international connections — otherwise they may be confiscated at the connecting airport security checkpoint.

Books & magazines

Oceanfront News (Main Terminal), Coastal News (Concourse A), Tropical News (Concourse B), and CNBC News (Concourse C) all carry magazines, paperbacks, and travel reads; there is no dedicated independent bookstore at PBI.

Convenience & travel essentials

Coral Cove convenience/gift shops are in both Concourse B (4:30am–last American Airlines departure) and Concourse C (4:30am–last Delta departure); Worth Avenue News is in the Main Terminal.

Hudson News is at most gate areas throughout Palm Beach International Airport — a reliable last-minute stop for charging cables, snacks, OTC medicine, and reading material before any departure.

Tech & electronics

Tech for Takeoff in Concourse C is PBI's only dedicated tech retailer, stocking chargers, headphones, and travel electronics accessories.

Best Buy Express kiosks carry Apple accessories, Bose headphones, and phone chargers at most major US airports. InMotion Entertainment is the other key tech stop — open at most gate clusters and stocked with travel-oriented electronics essentials.

Fashion & specialty retail

Brighton (jewelry and accessories) and the PGA Tour Shop (golf apparel, reflecting the Palm Beaches' golf culture) sit alongside Brooks Brothers and Palm Beach Expressions in the Main Terminal for resort-casual and business wear.

Best shopping area

The Main Terminal, Level 2, has PBI's widest retail and services mix pre-security — Brooks Brothers, PGA Tour Shop, Brighton, Comfort Zone Spa, KidZoo, and Oceanfront News are all clustered together on the departures level.

Pro Tip

Because PBI has no duty-free and modest retail overall, don't plan on airport shopping as a destination — grab essentials from Coral Cove or Oceanfront News and save real shopping for The Palm Beaches' outlet malls and boutiques before you fly.
