Hudson News operates newsstand/bookshop locations in both concourses — South Concourse (A) and North Concourse (B) — open from 4:00am until the last departure; a Hudson News location is also in the South Terminal (4:00am–midnight).

OMA is in the middle of a $950 million, multi-year terminal modernization (Build OMA), so current retail is deliberately minimal — Hudson News and OMA Market in each terminal, plus one bar & grill per concourse. The airport has announced 19 new dining and retail locations (16 of them post-security) opening with the new consolidated terminal starting in 2027/2028, so expect a major upgrade in the next couple of years.
