Rideshare & Ground Transport

Uber & Lyft Pickup at Eppley Airfield

Rideshare pickup at OMA is not always at the arrivals curb — most airports now route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated lot or garage. Here is exactly where to go, how to get there, and how to keep the fare reasonable.

Pickup and drop-off often sit on different curb levels — arrivals below, departures above — so follow signs to the right level.

In the app

Enter 'Eppley Airfield (OMA)' or select Eppley Airfield in the app

How to find the rideshare zone

Follow 'Ride App' directional signage throughout the terminal; take the terminal skywalk or open crosswalk to reach the South Garage ground floor, then find Section D3.

Avoiding surge pricing at OMA

When surge peaks: Surge peaks Friday evenings, Sunday afternoons, and during College World Series (June) held in Omaha; Creighton basketball and Husker away-game travel also affect demand.

Wait tip

Uber and Lyft use a FIFO queue geofenced to Section D3 — drivers waiting elsewhere will not receive trip requests, so expect a brief queue delay.

Compare your options

Rideshare is usually the fastest door-to-door option, but it is not always the cheapest — especially during surge.
