Rideshare & Ground Transport

Uber & Lyft Pickup at Orlando International Airport

Rideshare pickup at MCO is not always at the arrivals curb — most airports now route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated lot or garage. Here is exactly where to go, how to get there, and how to keep the fare reasonable.

How to find the rideshare zone

Avoiding surge pricing at MCO

When surge peaks: Surge peaks during Walt Disney World / Universal park seasons (spring break, summer, Christmas week) and after major Orlando convention center events; Sunday evening departures from theme park families also compress driver supply.

Wait tip

Drivers stage at 8149 Bear Road near B-52 Memorial Park; request your ride only after reaching the Level 2 pickup curb to prevent driver arrival before you.

Compare your options

Rideshare is usually the fastest door-to-door option, but it is not always the cheapest — especially during surge.
