Rideshare & Ground Transport
Rideshare pickup at MCO is not always at the arrivals curb — most airports now route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated lot or garage. Here is exactly where to go, how to get there, and how to keep the fare reasonable.

Level 2 TNC Pick-Up zones — Domestic: Door 2, Lane 2; International: Door 11, Lane 1
Level 2 TNC Pick-Up zones — same Domestic Door 2 Lane 2; International Door 11 Lane 1

In the app
Enter 'MCO' in the app; domestic flights head to Door 2 Lane 2, international arrivals to Door 11 Lane 1 on Level 2
Exit baggage claim and look for 'Ride App' signs directing you to the Level 2 TNC Pick-Up curb just outside the terminal doors.
Cell Phone Lot
MCO has two Cell Phone Lots: North at 8730 Jeff Fuqua Blvd N and South at 10546 Jeff Fuqua Blvd — both are 3–5 min from Level 2 pickup. Cell phone lot details →
When surge peaks: Surge peaks during Walt Disney World / Universal park seasons (spring break, summer, Christmas week) and after major Orlando convention center events; Sunday evening departures from theme park families also compress driver supply.
Wait tip
Drivers stage at 8149 Bear Road near B-52 Memorial Park; request your ride only after reaching the Level 2 pickup curb to prevent driver arrival before you.
Rideshare is usually the fastest door-to-door option, but it is not always the cheapest — especially during surge.
| Option | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Rideshare Uber / Lyft | Door-to-door convenience, groups with bags, no cash needed | Surge pricing on busy evenings & events; long walk to pickup lot |
| Taxi Metered cab | Predictable metered fare during surge, no app required | Often more expensive off-peak; cash sometimes required |
| Transit Train / bus | Lowest cost option, immune to surge pricing and traffic | Not available at every airport; less practical with luggage |
