Speed and coverage

GUM WiFi delivers adequate speeds on the Free terminal Wi-Fi (GIAA has not published an official SSID; look for an open, airport-branded network in your device's Wi-Fi list) network. GUM WiFi provides adequate speeds for browsing and email; streaming and video calls may buffer during peak hours when the most passengers are connected simultaneously. Coverage extends throughout the terminal areas and concourses — you generally do not need to reconnect as you move through the airport.

Charging stations

Outlets are clustered rather than built into every seat — look near the West Concourse gate seating (gates 4–8), beside the Tentekomai ramen/udon restaurant, and on either side of the curved bench seating next to Micronesian Munchies. Most major US airports — including GUM — provide a mix of USB-A, USB-C, and standard 120 V outlets at gate seating. Bring your own cable; cables are not supplied at charging kiosks.

Pro Tip

Sagan Bisita, the West Concourse lounge across from Gate 7, is open to the general public (not membership-only) and offers free Wi-Fi plus buffet seating — a reliable fallback if your gate area has a weak signal or no free outlet.
