Rideshare & Ground Transport

Uber & Lyft Pickup at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport

Rideshare pickup at FLL is not always at the arrivals curb — most airports now route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated lot or garage. Here is exactly where to go, how to get there, and how to keep the fare reasonable.

Where to get picked up at FLL

UUber Pickup Zone

Lower Level (Arrivals) curbside — designated 'TNC/Rideshare' pickup lane at each terminal: Terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4.

LLyft Pickup Zone

Same Lower Level Arrivals curbside TNC lanes as Uber — follow pink Lyft signs at each terminal.

Pickup and drop-off often sit on different curb levels — arrivals below, departures above — so follow signs to the right level.

In the app

Enter 'FLL' and select your arrival terminal (1, 2, 3, or 4) in the app; pickup is at the Lower Level curbside of that terminal.

How to find the rideshare zone

Exit baggage claim to the Lower Level (Arrivals) curb and follow 'Rideshare/TNC' signs; each terminal has its own clearly marked pickup lane directly outside baggage claim doors.

Cell Phone Lot

The Cell Phone Lot is off Griffin Rd, south of the airport — follow 'Cell Phone Lot' signs from the terminal loop; 3–4 min drive to the terminal curbs. Cell phone lot details →

Avoiding surge pricing at FLL

When surge peaks: Surge peaks Friday and Sunday evenings year-round; spring break weeks (mid-March–early April) see all-day surges; cruise ship embarkation Saturdays also spike demand from Port Everglades transfers.

Wait tip

FLL serves mostly leisure travelers with heavy weekend and holiday traffic; wait until you have all bags before requesting — drivers arrive quickly but the Arrivals curb moves fast.

Compare your options

Rideshare is usually the fastest door-to-door option, but it is not always the cheapest — especially during surge.
