WiFi & Charging

Fargo (FAR) Airport WiFi

Free WiFi is available throughout Hector International Airport on the FAR_Free_WiFi network. Access is Unlimited — Select the airport's free WiFi network from your device's WiFi list; no password or browser click-through portal has historically been required — confirm the exact on-screen network name at a terminal kiosk, since it may have been updated alongside the 2026 terminal expansion.

Speed and coverage

FAR WiFi delivers adequate speeds on the FAR_Free_WiFi network. FAR WiFi provides adequate speeds for browsing and email; streaming and video calls may buffer during peak hours when the most passengers are connected simultaneously. Coverage extends throughout the terminal areas and concourses — you generally do not need to reconnect as you move through the airport.

Charging stations

Outlets are built into gate seating throughout the terminal, including the new Gates 6–9 addition that opened in February 2026. Most major US airports — including FAR — provide a mix of USB-A, USB-C, and standard 120 V outlets at gate seating. Bring your own cable; cables are not supplied at charging kiosks.

Pro Tip

FAR is compact enough that free WiFi covers the entire single-story terminal, original gates and the new 2026 wing alike, with no reported dead zones.
