Key West (EYW) Airport Shopping

Shopping at Key West International Airport spans convenience staples at Hudson News and tech accessories at InMotion through to local specialty gifts and duty-free for international travelers. See each section below for exact locations by concourse or terminal.

Diagram of duty-free shopping with sealed liquid bags and the rules for carrying them through connections.
Duty-free liquids must stay in the sealed store bag to clear security on international connecting flights.

Duty-free shopping

None. EYW does not have a duty-free shop. Its only international route (a small charter-style Havana, Cuba service run by Air Key West) does not support a duty-free concession, and multiple independent airport guides confirm no duty-free option exists at EYW.

US duty-free allowance

US residents may bring back $800 in duty-free goods per person. Liquids purchased at duty-free must be in the original sealed store bag when transiting international connections — otherwise they may be confiscated at the connecting airport security checkpoint.

Books & magazines

No dedicated bookstore. The Last Chance Gift Shop (locations both before and after security in the Main Terminal) carries magazines and light reading alongside gifts and travel sundries.

Convenience & travel essentials

Last Chance Gift Shop (pre- and post-security, Main Terminal) and Farm2Air Market (grab-and-go, at the Concourse A entrance) cover snacks, drinks, and basic travel essentials.

Hudson News is at most gate areas throughout Key West International Airport — a reliable last-minute stop for charging cables, snacks, OTC medicine, and reading material before any departure.

Tech & electronics

None. EYW has no dedicated electronics or tech-accessory retailer (no InMotion, Best Buy Express, or similar); the Last Chance Gift Shop and Farm2Air Market carry, at most, basic phone chargers and cables.

Best Buy Express kiosks carry Apple accessories, Bose headphones, and phone chargers at most major US airports. InMotion Entertainment is the other key tech stop — open at most gate clusters and stocked with travel-oriented electronics essentials.

Fashion & specialty retail

Standard airport convenience retail. The Last Chance Gift Shop carries Key West- and Florida Keys-themed souvenir apparel (t-shirts, hats) rather than any dedicated fashion retail.

Best shopping area

Last Chance Gift Shop (post-security, Main Terminal/Concourse A) is the best all-around retail stop — it's effectively the only real shopping option in the terminal for souvenirs, sundries, and last-minute gifts.

Pro Tip

EYW's shopping is intentionally minimal — the 2025 terminal renovation prioritized dining, seating, and comfort over retail. Buy your Key West souvenirs downtown on Duval Street before you fly; the airport's shop selection is convenience-oriented, not a destination in itself.
