Eugene (EUG) Airport Shopping

Shopping at Eugene Airport spans convenience staples at Hudson News and tech accessories at InMotion through to local specialty gifts and duty-free for international travelers. See each section below for exact locations by concourse or terminal.

Diagram of duty-free shopping with sealed liquid bags and the rules for carrying them through connections.
Duty-free liquids must stay in the sealed store bag to clear security on international connecting flights.

Duty-free shopping

None — EUG is a domestic-only airport with no U.S. Customs facility, so there is no duty-free shop anywhere in the terminal.

US duty-free allowance

US residents may bring back $800 in duty-free goods per person. Liquids purchased at duty-free must be in the original sealed store bag when transiting international connections — otherwise they may be confiscated at the connecting airport security checkpoint.

Books & magazines

No standalone bookstore. Pure Northwest, the terminal's gift-shop operator (also found under its earlier name, Emerald City News & Gifts, in some directories), carries magazines and a modest paperback/travel-read selection at its terminal-lobby, A-Gates, and B-Gates locations.

Convenience & travel essentials

Pure Northwest is the airport's only newsstand-style shop, with three locations: the terminal lobby (landside) and both the A-Gates and B-Gates concourses (post-security). It stocks snacks, drinks, sundries, and travel essentials, roughly 4:30am–7:30pm daily.

Hudson News is at most gate areas throughout Eugene Airport — a reliable last-minute stop for charging cables, snacks, OTC medicine, and reading material before any departure.

Tech & electronics

None — no InMotion, Best Buy Express, Apple-affiliated kiosk, or other electronics retailer at EUG. Basic phone chargers or cables are limited to whatever Pure Northwest happens to stock.

Best Buy Express kiosks carry Apple accessories, Bose headphones, and phone chargers at most major US airports. InMotion Entertainment is the other key tech stop — open at most gate clusters and stocked with travel-oriented electronics essentials.

Fashion & specialty retail

No fashion boutiques. Pure Northwest leans into Pacific Northwest and Oregon-themed gifts and apparel — University of Oregon and local-artist merchandise, outdoor-lifestyle souvenirs — rather than name-brand fashion.

Best shopping area

The B-Gates location of Pure Northwest, next to Willamette Grill, is the largest of the three and carries the widest combined snack, gift, and souvenir selection.

Pro Tip

Because EUG has no duty-free counter and no dedicated electronics retailer, pick up any last-minute Oregon-themed gifts pre-security at the terminal-lobby Pure Northwest — it's the first shop you'll pass and typically has the longest hours of the three locations.
