WiFi & Charging
Free WiFi is available throughout James M. Cox Dayton International Airport on the Fly DAY Public network. Access is Unlimited — Select the "Fly DAY Public" network (SSID: public) from your device's WiFi list and open any browser — the connection activates automatically with no password or click-through splash page required.

How to connect
DAY WiFi delivers adequate speeds on the Fly DAY Public network. DAY WiFi provides adequate speeds for browsing and email; streaming and video calls may buffer during peak hours when the most passengers are connected simultaneously. Coverage extends throughout the terminal areas and concourses — you generally do not need to reconnect as you move through the airport.
Charging is built directly into gate-hold seating in both Concourse A and Concourse B (over half of the airport's 1,100+ newly installed seats have outlets); there are no separate wall-mounted charging towers, so grab a powered seat near your gate when you arrive. Most major US airports — including DAY — provide a mix of USB-A, USB-C, and standard 120 V outlets at gate seating. Bring your own cable; cables are not supplied at charging kiosks.
Pro Tip
The free WiFi also covers the outdoor Cell Phone Lot, so drivers waiting to pick up arriving passengers can track flight status online without burning cell data while they wait.
