Rideshare & Ground Transport

Uber & Lyft Pickup at Dallas Love Field

Rideshare pickup at DAL is not always at the arrivals curb — most airports now route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated lot or garage. Here is exactly where to go, how to get there, and how to keep the fare reasonable.

Where to get picked up at DAL

Pickup and drop-off often sit on different curb levels — arrivals below, departures above — so follow signs to the right level.

In the app

Search 'Dallas Love Field (DAL)'; app routes to Valet Lot Zones 1–3 — do not search 'Dallas/Fort Worth', which is DFW

How to find the rideshare zone

From the terminal exit, stay in the rightmost lane on Herb Kelleher Way before the road splits, follow 'Ride App Pickup' signs, and turn right into the Valet Lot — approximately 6-minute walk from the terminal.

Avoiding surge pricing at DAL

When surge peaks: Surge peaks Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons; Cowboys home games at AT&T Stadium in Arlington cause regional demand spikes; summer heat waves reduce midday driver supply.

Wait tip

The Valet Lot is closer than the old Garage B location (6 min vs 10 min walk); taxi and limo moved to Garage C — be walking before you request as the lot is clearly signed.

Compare your options

Rideshare is usually the fastest door-to-door option, but it is not always the cheapest — especially during surge.
