Rideshare & Ground Transport

Uber & Lyft Pickup at Boise Airport

Rideshare pickup at BOI is not always at the arrivals curb — most airports now route Uber and Lyft to a dedicated lot or garage. Here is exactly where to go, how to get there, and how to keep the fare reasonable.

Pickup and drop-off often sit on different curb levels — arrivals below, departures above — so follow signs to the right level.

In the app

Search 'Boise Airport (BOI)'; follow in-app rideshare wayfinding signs to the upper curb east end sheltered zone

How to find the rideshare zone

After collecting bags, take the escalator up to the second-floor rotunda, exit through the rotunda door, and follow the curb to the right to the sheltered Rideshare Pick-Up Area marked with signs.

Avoiding surge pricing at BOI

When surge peaks: Surge peaks Friday afternoons and Sunday evenings; Boise State football home Saturdays (autumn) and ski season weekends at Sun Valley drive higher demand; driver supply is smaller than major metros.

Wait tip

Request the ride only after you have claimed luggage and reached the shelter — this prevents the driver from sitting at the curb and receiving a fine.

Compare your options

Rideshare is usually the fastest door-to-door option, but it is not always the cheapest — especially during surge.
