Speed and coverage

BDL WiFi delivers good speeds on the BDLPublic network. BDL WiFi delivers good speeds for most tasks — browsing, email, video streaming, and light downloads all work reliably. Coverage extends throughout the terminal areas and concourses — you generally do not need to reconnect as you move through the airport.

Charging stations

Complimentary charging stations for phones, laptops, and tablets are placed throughout both terminal concourses; two electric-vehicle charging stations are also available in the free Cell Phone Waiting Lot on Light Lane. Most major US airports — including BDL — provide a mix of USB-A, USB-C, and standard 120 V outlets at gate seating. Bring your own cable; cables are not supplied at charging kiosks.

Pro Tip

Because BDL is a single compact terminal, BDLPublic covers the whole building end-to-end — the connection doesn't drop as you walk from the Landside Lobby through the Airside Lobby to either the Gates 1-12 or Gates 21-30 concourse.
